About the American Horticultural Therapy Association

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission to promote and advance the profession of horticultural therapy.
AHTA’s goals:
- To develop the resources and relationships needed to carry out our mission and vision;
- To be the best source of information about the benefits of horticultural therapy;
- To be an effective organization, responsive to members, supporters and the public;
- Describe and promote high standards of practice.

AHTA publishes an annual journal: The Journal of Therapeutic Horticulture. AHTA membership includes the annual issue.
