Research Resources

One of the best ways to tap into HT research resources is to get involved in the Research Networking Group, a strategic working group of the American Horticultural Therapy Association. The Group's objective is to promote collaborative research in horticultural therapy among researchers, practitioners and allied health professionals.

Currently, the Research Networking Group is compiling profiles of interested university researchers and practitioners. It has also established an electronic mailing list where members can discuss ideas and issues in horticultural therapy research.

As the members of the Group develop collaborative research projects, summaries of the projects will be posted on this site. We will also provide here links to any such projects that are published in the Journal of Therapeutic Horticulture.

The Research Networking Group's discussion list is moderated by Dr. Eunhee Kim of Kansas State University, a recognized leader in HT research. Please contact Dr. Kim to join the Research Networking Group or to learn more about it. Updates on the Group will also be posted at www.oznet.ksu.edu/horttherapy/ahtaresearch.

We will also post here information about other research resources, as well as links to AHTA-sponsored events that promote HT research.
