Thank you for attending the AHTA 2022 Annual ConferenceRenaissance in Bloom: Reimagining and Revitalizing Horticultural TherapySeptember 9–10, 2022 Full Schedule 2022 AHTA Conference Keynote Speaker - Abra LeeAbra Lee is a speaker, writer, and author of the forthcoming book “Conquer The Soil: Black America and the Untold Stories of Our Country’s Gardeners, Farmers, and Growers.” She has spent a whole lotta time in the dirt as a municipal arborist and airport landscape manager. Her work has been featured in publications including The New York Times and Veranda Magazine. Lee is a graduate of Auburn University College of Agriculture and an alumna of the Longwood Gardens Society of Fellows, a global network of public horticulture professionals. 2022 AHTA Conference Plenary Speaker - Ashley Williamson Ashley brings local and international experience in program development, community engagement, and research. She has a Master in Social Work Advocacy, Policy and Administration and is passionate about connecting people, ideas and policies. A dedicated Kansas City community member, Ashley is currently a Public Director for the AIA (American Institute of Architects) Board, on the Public Policy Committee of the LGBT Chamber of Commerce, a core member of the Kansas City Chapter of the National Young Farmers Coalition, and a steward of the Fisher Park Orchard in her neighborhood, Rosedale. |
