AHTA's Magazine is an electronic publication that provides relevant articles on a range of topics for people and facilities interested in horticultural therapy, therapeutic horticulture, and people-plant interactions.
The editorial mission of the AHTA Magazine is to highlight programs, practitioners, best practices, and professional standards to enhance and improve HT program delivery. Topics include issues in the profession, upcoming events, useful resources, focus on special populations, and horticulture information.

Write for the Magazine
The AHTA Magazine welcomes articles submitted by members.
- Submissions should be made to the Editor-in-Chief or emailed to the AHTA office at info@ahta.org.
- Articles that are submitted may be denied publication.
- Articles Must:
- Support the professional mission of AHTA
- Support AHTA's goals and values
- Avoid wording that contradicts or undermines AHTA’s mission and professional standards, whether directly or indirectly.
- Not be used for the purpose of solicitation.
- For examples of appropriate submissions, past editions of the AHTA Magazine can be found online in the Member Center.
