Two Ways to Recertify

A record of CE credits must be submitted with the AHTA recertification application at the time of renewal. All CE must be completed within the 5-year recertification period and by the last day of the 5-year cycle.

Reexamination
Retake the certification exam within the last 6 months of your 5-year renewal cycle.
The certificant submits a new application and fee and schedules a test appointment to retake the HT-BC exam.
